Level 2 and 2-3
After you’re comfortable with the introduction to yoga you can move into a stronger class. This course is designed to help you develop more strength, poses, and flexibility.

Strength Yoga is no ordinary yoga class.
The idea behind Strength Yoga’s creation is the integration of the science of strength training and the intuition of yoga.
Founder Christi Sullivan has spent over 20 years in the fitness industry studying the science of human movement and metaphysics. Her approach when strengthen the glutes, the lower abdominals and improve posture is to ground the body so we have the physical strength to take on the emotional, mental and spiritual stresses in life.
This is a progressive, athletic and an enlightened-based approach to yoga to help you focus on your unique alignment. At the same time will help restore peace of mind and revitalize your spirit through consistent practice.
The alignment cues in Strength Yoga are unique and simple to understand, so you can adjust accordingly to develop strength, and improve posture and flexibility -- not only of the body but also of the mind. The focus is on postures that are accessible by all, no matter the experience.
Christi believes the unique physical alignment of each individual helps the energies of the body to flow fluidly so each energy center can be opened, and the emotional, mental, and spiritual tension that is being held in the body can be released.
