Glute Girls of Yoga Challenge

I’m posing this challenge to all you ladies out there, when I was out in Australia presenting my Christi impresses the glute guyStrength Yoga class one of the questions that was asked of me was ‘when I look at women doing yoga they all have flat yoga butts and yet yoga is filled with glute activating exercises’; he is correct and I’m out to change that. Some of this is a lack of an understanding of biomechanics and a misunderstanding that yoga is all about becoming uber flexible. I say Yoga is about getting strong and flexible b/c it is a strength and condition class at its simplest. I’m going to help you activate and work those glutes like no one has before. Here I am with Bret the Glute Guy. Need to take a close look to how high the step is…this was pure glute strength…and yes I did impress him  (pic to the right)

Plus the Glute Guy of the Strength and Conditioning industry said that the glutes shape cannot be changed without weight training. I agree only to a point. Since my Strength Yoga is filled with deep lunges and squat plus glute activating work I believe we can prove Bret wrong!! It may take a little longer without weights, so do you want to be a part of the challenge.

Through nutrition and committing to doing Strength Yoga 4-days a week, what do you have to lose? Body fat and dress sizes are all you have to lose. So what do you have to gain--- self confidence, a stronger butt, a better looking butt---It really is up to you! All you need is a notebook and the desire to change and improve your lifestyle!

The notebook is to track food---this is a must! For we cannot change our bodies w/o proper nutrition and to think you can do this w/o changing some of your nutritional habits is a delusion. I will make this simple so it’s not a ton of changes at one time. You may find committing to 4 days of Strength Yoga is far easier than food. I teach people how to tune into their body/soul for the guidance, either we take something out of the diet or we have to put something in. This will be different for everyone and it’s only one thing to put in or take. If you are not sure, I will help!

You will be held accountable! If you find that there is a week or 2 that you cannot get 4 days at the Studio in then you can purchase my DVD’s (which I will sell at a reduced price) Don’t feel you can only come to my classes. Apply the concepts in other classes, the concepts are so easily transferrable and that is the point!!

There are no excuses except the ones you want to create. When you begin to create excuses you may need to ask yourself why you feel you don’t deserve health or why you feel you don’t deserve to love yourself. These are very common roadblocks to health and wellness. I am here to support and so are the other ladies. We all need to support and we deserve the support of others, we all deserve to be loved by others and our self. Once you overcome the self imposed roadblocks, you will feel so great and so strong. Strong mind, strong body and vice versa, and that too is the point of Strength Yoga!

We need to take measurements plus pics to track progress, especially if you are doing this from a far…the cost is only $10 and this goes towards the purchase of I survived the Glute Girls of Yoga Challenge t-shirt…you receive the t-shirt if you finish the 12 weeks! There are 42 classes to be completed in the challenge and you are to keep track of your food log for the entire 12 weeks!! You have to follow the whole thing---yoga plus food diary!! I’m making it simple so you can… Every 4 weeks I need to take pics and measurements and with a completed food diary and the completed number of classes per month I will give prizes away. I will have a card for the classes so we all can keep track. At the end who ever does all 2 classes, completed food diary for the entire 12 weeks I will give away 3 personal training session plus you get a t-shirt for completing the challenge!! So come on ladies!! Let’s change some cheeks---one cheek at a time!!!
